The Apple store would not install a replacement hard drive. The largest one they had available was 500 GB anyway, but apparently they were not allowed to do this because I had installed the 1 TB drive myself.
So instead of a shopping trip to Keepsake Quilting for my birthday, for their epic fat quarter sale, I got a new hard drive for my MacBook instead… Took all day yesterday, until an hour past my bedtime, to get everything installed, updated, restored, etc. Oh, well… I don’t really need any more quilting fabric, and I definitely need my MacBook more.
I've also been working on my Susan's Folly blocks, adding the first sashing strip to all of the individual blocks. I still need to finish cutting sashing strips, and work on the Double Irish Chain quilt on the frame. I picked up the second block for the Plain & Fancy BOM yesterday, though! I could cut those pieces as well. I was hoping to finish doing the sashing strips, both the cutting and attaching the first one, before moving on to the next project, though.
