We have gas!
The propane has been installed, and I have a fully functional stove again!
Here's the propane tank (with the cover up).
Here's the stove, our $50 Craigslist special!
The backsplash (is that the correct term when referring to a cookstove?) is much shorter than my old stove, so now my stovetop chickies are temporarily without a home.
I'm sure that issue will be solved soon enough. I love the handle on the oven door, though - I'll actually be able to hang towels there now (my other stove had a solid oven door handle). And I'll be baking bread this afternoon!

Congrats on being able to bake bread again! I remember the year, many years ago now, when the oven died just before Thanksgiving. Dad cooked the turkey on the kettle grill that year. I don't remember if we had pie or not. Too caught up in the novelty of roasting a bird in the snow!
